Getting married in the Bavarian Alps, near Neuschwanstein Castle, at Lake Constance or in Munich? I am Daniel, an English-speaking wedding photographer based in Kempten in the Allgäu.
Editorial, calm, timeless
My work has been published in magazines around the world. I bring that editorial eye to every wedding – a strong feel for light and shadow, clean compositions, lots of black and white – while staying calm and unobtrusive on the day itself.
I photograph only 10 weddings per year so that every couple gets my full attention – from planning to the final edit. I speak English, German and Russian, which makes me a good fit for international weddings and destination weddings in Germany and Austria.

The Allgäu, Füssen and Schwangau (Neuschwanstein), Oberstdorf, Munich and Lake Starnberg, Lake Constance (Lindau, Bregenz, Meersburg) and Tyrol & Vorarlberg. Travel up to 200 km from Kempten is included in every package.

Questions
Do you photograph destination weddings near Neuschwanstein Castle?
Yes. Schwangau, the Forggensee and the Alpsee near Hohenschwangau are about 45 minutes from Kempten. I plan portrait sessions early in the morning or in the evening to avoid crowds.
Is travel included?
Travel up to 200 km from Kempten is included in all packages. Beyond that I charge €0.50 per km.
Do you speak English?
Yes – English, German and Russian.
